For years, I looked solid from the outside. Inside, I often felt like I was navigating without a rudder.
My father died when I was 26, and I have often reflected on whether more time with his guidance would have completed part of my leadership foundation. That is not an excuse. It is honest accounting.
I served in the Primary Reserve. That experience shaped how I operate under pressure, but it does not define me. It is a cornerstone, not the whole structure.
What shaped me most came later: responsibility layered on uncertainty, a deeply unhealthy marriage, raising two children I am immensely proud of, and years of quiet anxiety driven by unseen consequences.
I am a builder. I turn ambiguity into structure. That instinct led to patents, systems, and businesses. AI governance is where much of that experience aligned.
Trusted By Heroes exists because anxiety without structure can harm good people. Governance, done properly, does not restrict. It protects.
I teach from experience. I build to help others avoid walking blind.
